SkyBridge Michigan at Boyne Mountain Resort features the world’s longest timber-towered suspension bridge, stretching 1,200 feet across the scenic Boyne Valley. Suspended 120 feet above the ground, the bridge’s most exciting feature is a 36-foot GlassWalk™ structural glass floor that delivers breathtaking views directly below.Designed and manufactured by GBA Architectural Products + Services, the custom laminated glass flooring system was engineered to withstand northern Michigan’s demanding climate while providing maximum durability, safety, and visual impact. The innovative six-foot panel design allows flexibility and movement, making the glass floor both functional and thrilling for visitors.
