Project Description

Museum Glass Floor Exhibit

At the Florida Holocaust Museum, GBA Architectural Products + Services designed a custom structural glass floor system that honors history through innovative architecture.

Built around Thor, the Danish rescue boat that helped save over 7,000 lives in 1943, the installation uses low-iron glass, steel framing, and immersive lighting to create the illusion of the vessel suspended in water.

The result is a powerful, durable glass floor exhibit that blends transparency, design, and storytelling to deepen visitor engagement and reflection.
