Project Description

Main Street Station GlassWalk™ Renovation in Richmond

Main Street Station, originally built in 1901, has been carefully transformed from a historic railroad hub into a modern multi-use entertainment and transportation facility in Richmond. The redevelopment preserves the building’s architectural heritage while introducing new spaces for dining, retail, and cultural experiences.

As part of the renovation, GBA Architectural Products + Services supplied GlassWalk™ structural glass flooring systems. These installations include glass paver floors that allow natural light to filter through interior spaces, enhancing brightness and visual openness throughout the structure. A custom glass floor installation was also designed to showcase original train track elements, creating a protected yet highly visible historical exhibit for visitors.
