Project Description

Wheaton College was established in 1860 as a co-ed private, residential, and interdenominational Christian Liberal Arts College.  Meyer Science Center was completed in 2010 and incorporated our GlassWalk structural glass floor system into the updated design.  The science center includes an interactive atrium museum featuring a Foucault pendulum atop the structural glass floor and the Perry Mastodon beneath.  The college is located in Wheaton, Illinois – which is 25 miles west of downtown Chicago.

  • Structural Glass: Translucent Glass with Pinstripe Traction Control Frit
  • Aluminum Grid: Standard Clear Anodized “Matte Silver” Finish
