SPEED ART MUSEUM

Project Description

The Speed Art Museum, originally known as the J.B. Speed Memorial Museum, is Kentucky’s oldest and largest art museum. Located next to The University of Louisville’s Belknap campus in Louisville, KY the museum receives visitors from around the world. The museum underwent a $60 million expansion and renovation project from September 2012 to March 2016 and as part of the expansion this impressive glass bridge was added near the entry. It has become a focal point of the museum and is often used as a reference point when giving directions to patrons. We recently revisited this floor and the images above are from that visit.

Features:
• Glass: Translucent Glass with Full Coverage Traction Control Frit
